The most honest answer is no. A lot of people would lead you to believe or lie and tell you yes. However, the unique thing that is found in great employees is rare. It can differ from person to person. Your unique or great employees are not like everyone else. Sometimes, they have an unparalleled work ethic and other times they may have the best off the cuff ideas and other times they may have a great way off connecting with customers or getting special projects done. The list goes on but, we know who those people are. Secretly, we may value them hire than others.
Alas, for a million different reasons you lose an employee like this the company must make adjustments.
