Defining which is good and which is bad is not so easy to do these days except when it comes to the bottom line. Even then many bad managers fly under the radar because their bosses are not watching the bottom line. What items can you watch?
- high turn overs which wastes tons of money on training new employees
- decreased staff loyalty
- lower sales or production numbers
- fewer promotions
These are just a few things to look at. Make sure that you train and develop your managers constantly. Also make sure they share your vision and expectations.
